Conference Description

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:12

As Christians, we are at war. Satan, the enemy of our souls, “doth seek to work us woe.” Known in Scripture as our  “adversary,” he prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. He delights in rendering believers powerless, ruining their testimonies and destroying their lives. And so we are called to “resist the devil,” knowing that when we do, in Christ’s strength, he will flee from us.

We are excited to devote the 2017 Quakertown Conference on Reformed Theology to knowing our enemy so that we may resist him. For two days, we will shine the light of Scripture on our ancient foe: on knowing who he is and how he operates, on exposing his lies, and on his final demise. Through five plenary sessions and a choice of workshops, all who attend will be equipped to more fully understand the war we are engaged in and how to more effectively combat our enemy.

It is our great privilege and honor to have, as this year’s speakers, Kent Hughes, Peter Jones, Tom Nettles, and Scott Oliphint. Our tenth conference is scheduled for November 17–18, 2017 in Quakertown, PA, less than an hour north of Philadelphia and 20 minutes south of Allentown. It is an event open to all who seek a better understanding of Scripture — pastors and laypersons alike.

Register now! We know you will be blessed as, together, we sit under the teaching of God’s inerrant, authoritative and life-giving Word.
