Conversion

I am currently preaching through the Book of Acts. Last Sunday I preached on Paul’s conversion from Acts 9:1-19a.
It’s the sort of text that seems to preach itself. Paul is God’s great object lesson of grace. In his first epistle to Timothy Paul affirms just that. God saved him, he says, “that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.” In essence Paul is saying, “God saved me, the worst of sinners, so that everyone else would know that they are not beyond the reach of God’s grace.” Since God saved the worst He is able to save you as well.
