On No Falling Word, we'll hear how David, the caring shepherd, becomes the ravenous wolf, committing adultery and murder - two blood crimes for which David must answer to God. And Dr. Liam Goligher teaches us not to put our hope in mortal men, but in Jesus! For where David fails, Jesus succeeds!

Some people see the way of Christ as too exclusive and restrictive. But the reign of Christ is only too exclusive if He is not true, and only too restrictive if He is not the only way to salvation. On No Falling Word, Liam Goligher teaches us where our souls must find refuge - in what 'seems good to the Lord.'

Mephibosheth is the helpless, disinherited and possible enemy of King David. Yet, the king seeks him and calls him by name! Expecting death and danger, Mephibosheth finds only restoration and protection. On No Falling Word, Liam Goligher explores themes of adoption and renewal as we conclude "Tender Mercies."

A covenant is an agreement made on a promise, a promise based on kindness... better yet, based on steadfast love. On No Falling Word, Liam Goligher lends some insight into one such covenant, between David and Jonathan, that was carried out with "Tender Mercies."

This world of humans is locked into death and darkness. It has been that way for a very long time - enter the real Jesus of Christmas. Liam Goligher proclaims the Light and Life of the world - at the dawn of time, at Christmas, and forevermore

"When the Creation meets the Incarnation, it's as the old hymn says... "'The sons of ignorance and night, May dwell in the eternal Light, Through the eternal Love.'" Liam Goligher allows the Light of the world to shine - from the foundations of the earth to the first Christmas and to this Christmas!"

At surface level, the kingdom of David, with its swords, warhorses, temples, and thrones, appears to have little in common with the Kingdom of God under the rule of Jesus Christ. Liam Goligher details the elements of God's kingdom that are true in every millennium.

Most of us use the word 'great' many times a day. We use it to describe things like music, a promotion, new shoes, anything really. Liam Goligher challenges us not to be satisfied with the superficial or the insignificant, but reminds us that the grace of God in history is such that only God is great!

Liam Goligher talks about the first time that the name 'Son of God' is used to describe an individual - King David. But this is not to be the last time we hear someone called the Son of God. David's 'greater son' Jesus would come, inherit David's throne, and reign on it forever!
