For I Am God, and There Is No Other
I am the Lord, and there is no other,
besides me there is no God;
I equip you, though you do not know me,
that people may know, from the rising of the sun
and from the west, that there is none besides me;
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
Isaiah 45:5-6
No one shall thwart God’s will. God is sovereign and he may use or employ whomever he wishes to advance his kingdom and his purpose. And while we may not have specific answers to troubles in this life, as believers we do know God is in control, God is sovereign. His ultimate will and purpose is for the sake of His Church. “And the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”
For I am God, and there is no other.
